Is God Not Omnipotent or Omniscient Since He Couldn't Find Adam?

Supposed contradiction and verses:

God is not omnipotent and omniscient because He did not know where Adam was.

Gensis 3:9

And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?

A quick look at our own selves provides the answer. Have you ever asked someone something and known the answer? Sure you have. The point of it is not to find out the answer, (since you know it), but rather to point out to the other person you do. For example, when one of my children leaves the light on in their room, I might ask the question “Did you leave the light on in your room?”. Now, I already knew the answer. My point was to my child that I knew they had and they needed to correct it.

In the case of Adam, when we read verses 8-10, we see they had sinned, heard God, and hid because they knew they had done wrong. Much like an ostrich sticking their head in the sand, God already knew this and was making a point that they could hide nothing from Him. No contradiction!
