Supposed contradiction and verses:
Who bears guilt?
Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
For every man shall bear his own burden
This is another example of someone making something out of nothing. To you the reader, this should make it crystal clear to actually read the context of the verses in scripture instead of picking choosing as this person did. Clearly the first verse is telling us to help one another. That is showing love, which is what Christ taught. We bear burdens of others, simply by helping each other out be it physically or spiritually.
The second verse would seem to contradict had one never read anything else in the bible and know that we all will stand in judgment one day before our Lord. That is why in the verse right before that, Paul states…
But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.
Paul then goes on to show this is true even more so in the verses which follow:
7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
We see further this is scriptural in that Paul tells us…..
So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
See how when you read the verses around it makes things clear, as well as knowing the harmony of scripture? No contradiction!!
